AVI ReComp is an efficient app that lets you easily recompress AVI files, including AVIs without any audio at all. The installation pack is easy to get through and includes the most up to date versions of XviD, AviSynth and VirtualDubMod. AVI ReComp uses a multilingual interface, which is intuitive to use. While AVI ReComp can be a convenient app, some users have reported that it incorrectly detects file stream sizes and produces the wrong detection of decoding libraries. AVI ReComp also has some issues with support, including that some of the help menu options are coded wrong right now.
